THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, August 29, 2009.

B. Berniece Fullhart, 84, of Ames died Friday Aug. 28.

A longtime Ames resident, she was born to Jasper and Carrie Campbell on Oct. 7, 1924, in Exline, Iowa. She was organist at First Christian Church of Ames from 1952-1975.

She served as organist of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, in Ames, from 1980 until she retired in 2005.

She is survived by two sons, Dana, of Ames, and David, of Grapevine, Texas; one brother, Kenneth Campbell, of Burlington; and grandchildren Kathryn, Sarah, Andrew, and Julia Fullhart.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles B. Fullhart; and one brother, Wayne Campbell.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at Adams Funeral Home, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Ames.

Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.
