Services Held For Martin Musland
Martin Johannas Musland was born on November 19, 1893 to Holver and Johanna Gerrelson Musland on a farm south of Garden City; and passed away on December 19, 1963, at the age of 70 years and one month.
He was baptized and confirmed in the East Bergen Lutheran Church north of McCallsburg. He served his country in World War I.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Zola, two daughters, Jeanette (Mrs. Forrest Klemem) of Hubbard; Irene (Mrs. Arnold Berven) of Radcliffe and one son Charles of Garden city; four grandchildren; four sisters and a host of friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
The funeral service was held in Stavanger Lutheran Church at Garden City on Sunday afternoon, December 22, with Pastor Everett Nelson officiating. Pastor Perry Heller preached the sermon. C.T. Pearson sang two songs "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Lead Me All The Way."
Interment was in the Colo Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Dubberke, Larry Dubberke, Oliver Tweet, Robert Sarsfield, Ralph Sarsfield and Charles Sarsfield.
