THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, July 31, 2009.

Shana Joelle Hayes, 39, of Ogden, passed away peacefully Monday, July 27, 2009, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames.

Shana Joelle Hayes was born May 2, 1970, in Ames. She was a supervisor at Composite Technology. On June 7, 2003, she married David Hayes.

Survivors include her husband, David, formerly of Ames; parents, Orrin “Joe” and Josie E. (Moore) Geyman, of Tennessee; sister, Cherine (Terry) Johnson, of Florida; nephews, Dylan and Jordon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger E. Thomas; and brother, Michael Geyman.
