EDWIN DUVALL IS KILLED IN CRASH
Drives Auto Against Interurban Car
Special to the Tribune
KELLEY, June 20 - Edwin Duvall, 16 years old, was instantly killed about 4:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon when his car crashed into the side of an east bound interurban about three quarters of a mile northwest of here. Duvall's chest was crushed against the steering wheel.
Duvall was alone in the car. He was going from his home south toward Kelley, and it is believed that the sunlight blinded him, from seeing the car approaching from the west.
The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Duckorth funeral home in Ames, with the Rev. Elmer E. Higley of the Collegiate Methodist church in charge. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.Duvall was a junior in the high school here. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Duvall, and two sisters, Clarice, who is at home, and Mrs. Donald Hunter of Ames.
