Ronald Brooks, 56, died July 20, in Topeka, Kan., following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sons, Mike (and Lynn) Brooks, of Overland Park, Kan., and Matt Brooks, of Topeka, Kan.; a sister, Linda Brooks, of Slater; three brothers, Don Brooks, of Nevada, Loren Brooks, of Nashville, Tenn., and Kevin Brooks, of Oilwein; and three grandchildren.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, July 24, from 7-9 p.m. at the Indian Creek Country Club in Nevada. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25, at the Central Presbyterian Church in Nevada, with interment to follow.
