Roscoe Harold Beach, 58, of 67 N Avenue, Nevada, died Thurday July 19, 1979, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

He was born Aug. 1, 1920 to Oliver and Maude Garmen Beach.

Survivors include one son, Duncan of Nevada; three daughters, Doreen Beach of Ames, Lorina Corbin of Nevada and Robin Hong of Rapid City, S.D.; one brother, Sydney Beach of Ames,; three sisters Daisy Woodill of Chicago, Ill., Gladys Horner of Story City and Eva Overland of Ames, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

Services will be Saturday July 21, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in rural Nevada. The American Legion will hold military rites at the cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the American Lung Association. Donations may be sent to Lorina Corbin, Box 242, Nevada, Iowa.
