Casey Aldrich, 26, of Ames, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Burial will be at Peoria Cemetery in Maxwell.

Casey Aldrich, 26, of Ames, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames, with Pastor Lynn Elrod of Calvary United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Peoria Cemetery in Maxwell.

Casey Aldrich was born June 20, 1982, in Ames, to Hal Thomas and Bernice Eileen (Woodley) Aldrich. He was a clerk at Swift Stop.

He enjoyed his family outings, fishing and playing on the computer.

He is survived by his mother, Bernice Aldrich, of Ames; one brother, Curt (Julie) Dowdy; one sister, Mellisa Molley; six nephews; seven aunts; five uncles; and many cousins and their families.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Hal in 2002; grandparents, Ervin and June Aldrich, and Roy Lee and Bernidean Woodley; one aunt; and two uncles.
