CHARLES CASSADY, 42, DIES EARLY THURSDAY
Charles E. Cassady, 42, of 514 East Thirteenth street, died at 5:30 a. m. Thursday at Mary Greeley hospital following a month's illness of pneumonia.
The Cassadys moved to Ames about eight years ago and Mr. Cassady was employed by the Logsdon dairy.
Surviving him are his wife and two sons, Donald, who left Sunday after visiting here while on leave from the navy, and Francis, 16, a home, and a daughter. Bertha Mae, 12, at home, and other relatives.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed yet, pending arrival of relatives.

Cassady Funeral Services Sunday
Funeral services for Charles E. Cassady, who died early Thursday at the Mary Greeley hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday from the Duckworth funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Finegan, pastor of the Church of Christ, in charge. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Duckworth funeral home until 9 a. m. Saturday and at the home at 514 East Thirteenth street until 9 a. m. Sunday.
