THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, April 24, 2009.

Wynetta A. (Dodd) Davis, 73, of Clinton, Ark., and formerly of Nevada, died Monday, April 20, 2009, at Conway Regional Health Systems in Conway, Ark. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Ark. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Colo.

Nettie was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Colo, to Pauline (Troutner) and Harold Fines. She was married to Derald Dwight Dodd in July 1954 until his death on Aug. 28, 1983. Three sons were born from this union. She married Robert C. Davis in July 1987.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Robert C. Davis, of Clinton, Ark.; three sons, Harold (Bonnie) Dodd, of Bethel Park, Pa., Randy (Barb) Dodd, of Nevada, and Ricky (Lauri) Dodd, of Colo; a half brother, Craig (Cynthia) Douglas, of Albia; a stepbrother, Dean (Genia) Douglas, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Earl Douglas; and one sister, Verna Sass.
