NEVADA--- Funeral services for Raymond Tendall, 33, will be held Monday, at 2 p.m. from the Central Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
Tendall was killed Friday when a truck he was driving was hit by a Chicago Northwestern freight train at the Second Street crossing.
Tendall was born at McCallsburg, Sept. 14, 1924 and had been a resident of Nevada for the past 12 years. He was married on July 6, 1946 to Norma Kirby of Nevada.
Tendall was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Norma; two daughters, Linda and Gail and one son, Keith; his mother, Mrs. Christine Tendall of Roland; one brother, Leonard Tendall of Nevada and three sisters, Mrs. Grace Twedt and Mrs. Dorothy Williams of Nevada and Mrs. Kathryn Hemer of Des Moines. His father died in 1955.
The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home until the time of the funeral service.
