This quote was found among her treasures: “I know not by what methods rare, But this I know — God answers prayer. And I leave my prayer to Him alone, Whose will is wiser than my own.” Eliza Hickok

She is survived by five nieces, six nephews, and many grand- and great-grandnieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and one sister.
