Marie E. Nibe

Marie E. Nibe, 97, of Story City died of a heart ailment Monday at home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City, with burial at Story City Cemetery.

Mrs. Nibe was born in Wright County and had lived in Story City most of her life. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Melbourne of San Antonio; three daughters, Gladys Branyord of Story City, Donna See of Nevada and Lorraine Kennedy of Kelley; a brother, Lismore Stole of Clarion; two sisters, Anna Mae Soults of Alden and Leone Boehme of Birmingham, Ala.; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church.
