MRS. FLORA KOONS, 69, DIES FRIDAY

Mrs. Flora Koons, 69, a life-long resident of this vicinity, died at her home at 618 Carroll avenue at 2:30 p. m., Friday following a long illness.

She was born at Walnut Grove south of Ames May 22, 1867 and lived in Ames most of her life.

Surviving here are her husband, Elmer, and two daughters at home, Hasel and Norma.

Funeral services will be held from the Duckworth Funeral home at 2:30 p. m. Monday. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.
