THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, March 29, 2009.

Feb. 17, 1915-March 26, 2009

Gysbertje Boon, age 94, of Boone and formerly of Ames, died March 26, 2009, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at First United Methodist Church in Boone. Burial will be in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.

Friends may call at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone on Monday from 1 to 8 p.m. where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation continues Tuesday at the Church from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service.

Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church in Boone or the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
