AMOS F. MILLER IS DEAD HERE TODAY

Amos F. Miller, 81, who has made his home the past year with his daughter, Mrs. N. E. Swartz, 1104 Wilson avenue, died at the Swartz home Friday morning at 2 a. m., following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at Albia. The body will lie in state at the Duckworth Funeral home until Sunday.

Mr. Miller resided in Monroe for more than 60 years.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Swartz of Ames, Mrs. John Moore of Clarissa, Minn., Mrs. L. M. Stump of Boone and two sons, Charles M. of Fort Dodge and H. E. of Utica, Ill.
