THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, March 6, 2009.
Guyleen Marjorie G. Robinson, 76, of Slater, died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Harvest Assembly of God Church in Huxley, with Pastor Jerry Newswander officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Slater Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
Guyleen Marjorie G. Robinson was born May 31, 1932, in Newtown, Mo., to Guy and Evah (Rogers) Creason. She was a sales associate and enjoyed reading, gardening, flowers, working puzzles, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Tony (Kathy) Robinson, of Slater; one daughter, Terry Robinson, of Huxley; two sisters, Verneda and Zelpha; three grandchildren, Sam, Andy and Abbie Robinson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother; five sisters; and her husband, Jimmy Rex Robinson, in 1997.
Memorials may be given to Homeward Hospice.
Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater is in charge of arrangements.
