Carl E. Cross Sr., 82, of Boone, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at Evangelical Free Church Home in Boone. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall streets in Boone. Burial will be in Boone Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the funeral chapel, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral chapel.

Memorials may be given to the family to be used at their discretion.
