Obituary:

Rodney Paul Bergman, age 51, of Radcliffe, IA, died on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at his home in Radcliffe, IA.

A private family viewing will held at the Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard. His body will then be cremated.

Rodney Paul Bergman was born on July 28, 1957 in Webster City, IA. He was the son of Robert and Phyllis (Pearson) Bergman.

He received his education by attending school in Stratford, IA.

He worked for 32 years at Sauer – Danfoss in Ames. Most recently, he was employed as a CNC machinist in Buffalo, MN.

Rodney had been married for 24 years to Cosette (Welch) Bergman. To the union two daughters were born. In 2006, he was married to Juanita (Bowman) Bergman. She has three children.

Rodney died on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at his home in Radcliffe.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Bergman of Muscatine, IA; two daughters Kathryn Bergman of Greensboro, NC and Sheila Bergman of Ames, IA; three step-children Terry Wulf of Pleasantville, IA, Jennifer and Michael Wulf of Liberty, IN; 10 step-grandchildren; his mother Phyllis Bergman of Rolling Green Village in Nevada, IA; one sister Candis Gardner of Maxwell, IA; along with other relatives and friends

Rodney was preceded in death by his father and two half-bothers Frank and Skip Baysinger.
