Roland “Rollie” Stephens, 78, of Boone, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. His body has been cremated and a memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall streets in Boone. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date.

Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Schroeder Memorial Chapel, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the family to be used at their discretion.
