THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
Aug. 6, 1915-Jan. 31, 2009
Melvin “Mel” Jennings Brown, 93, of Story City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Bethany Manor in Story City. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Gilbert Lutheran Church. Burial will be at a later date in Palestine Cemetery in rural Huxley.
Visitation will be one hour prior the memorial service at the church.
Memorials may be designated to Bethany Manor.
Soderstrum Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
