THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, January 23, 2009.

Barry Lee Zook, 68, born July 20, 1940, in Nevada, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in Fontana, Calif.

He is survived by the love of his life, Deborah; three children, Kathy (Jim) Phillips, Mike (Christine) Zook and Loura Zook; five grandchildren; parents, Lee and Helen Zook; three sisters, Diane (Frank) McLauglin, Claudia Anderson and Candy (Bill) Fredericksen; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving brother, Gary; his grandparents, Albert and Minnie Hill, and Earl and Eva Zook; and one niece, Cami Anderson.

Ingold Funeral Chapel of Fontana, Calif., is assisting with arrangements.
