THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, January 6, 2009.

Elvin Johnson, 80, of Ellsworth, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at his home in Ellsworth. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Community Church of Kamrar.

Elvin deeded his body to Des Moines University. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Community Church of Kamrar.

Becker Funeral and Cremation Service of Jewell is assisting the Johnson family.
