THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, December 30, 2008.

Opal Irene (Brown) Crouthamel, 97, of rural Kelley, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Walter-Schroeder Funeral Home at Fifth and Story streets in Boone. Burial will be in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.

Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Walter-Schroeder Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 8 a.m. to the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials will be given to Mercy Hospice of Johnston or Garden Prairie United Church of Christ near Madrid.
