P. BROWN, MAXWELL PIONEER, DIES SUNDAY
MAXWELL — Funeral services will be held here Tuesday for Peter Brown, 90, pioneer Iowa farm implement merchant who died at the home of his daughter in Des Moinea Sunday. He had been at the veteran's hospital for some time, but was removed to his daughter's home two weeks ago. He suffered a stroke in October.
Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian church and burial will be in the Maxwell cemetery. Mr. Brown had resided here in his earlier years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Olinger of Clear Lake and Mrs. Laura Callen of Des Moines, at whose home he died, and four sons, Ross, Lou and Delbert, all of Portland. Ore., and Henry of near Cambridge.
