MRS. BODIE RITES AT STATE CENTER

STATE CENTER— Funeral services were conducted at the Presyterian church here Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Alta Bodie, wife of Frank E. Bodie, a farmer near State Center, who died suddenly at her home Friday morning. The Rev. William Roberts was in charge of the service and burial was in Hillside cemetery. Death was unexpected and came as Mrs. Bodie slept. Heart trouble was the cause.

Mrs. Bodie was born May 5, 1888, at St. Anthony, in Marshall county, and was married Oct. 7, 1908, to Frank E. Bodie.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Perry L. Bodie, deputy treasurer of Marshall county. She also leaves two brothers, Leo Perry of Mitchelville, and Russell Perry of Boone.
