SERVICES FOR S. J. MILLER AT MAXWELL

MAXWELL - Funeral services for S. J. Miller, 90, who died of a heart attack at his home in Silver Lake, Wis., Sunday, were held from the Pretbyterian church here Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Miller had lived in Maxwell until seven years ago, when he and his wife moved to Wisconsin. Born in Ontario, Can., October 23, 1845, he came to Iowa in 1855 and was married to Miss Rose Hall December 20, 1877. Five children were born to this union, all of whom survive. They are Mrs. Harve Cole of Perry, Mrs. Fred Cole of Kenosha, Wis., Mrs. Margaret Rasmussen of South Dakota, and B. H. Miller and D. A. Miller of Sturgis, Mich. All of the children but Mrs. Rasmussen attended services here.

Mr. Miller celebrated his ninetieth birthday October 23, 1935, and all members of the family were present, the first reunion in 20 years.

Pall bearers were George Cole, Major Dunahoo, C. I. Kirk, C. B. Aunch, Van Johnson and O. F. Strombeck.

Music was furnished by a male quartet composed of Clark and Dale John and Ross and Claire Olinger. Mrs. Hubert Larson played the accompaniments.
