AMES DAILY TRIBUNE AND TIMES, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Monday, November 4, 1935.

The Rev. and Mrs. Nelson P. Horn returned Sunday from Cameron, Mo., where they were called by the death of Mrs. Horn's father, W. H. S. McGlumphy, who had been in ill health for more than a year, his condition becoming critical several weeks ago. Mr. McGlumphy was widely known in Missouri as a writer of verse and as a compiler of county atlases and city maps which he published in connection with his work as an abstractor. His two sons are graduates of Iowa State college. Donald B. received his M. S. degree in 1923 and James H. received his B. S. in 1926 and his Ph. D. in 1930.
