Nevada Man is Killed in Penn. Motor Accident

ALTOONA, Pa. (UP) - Two men were killed and their bodies burned when a large trailer truck failed to round a curve on the Cresson mountain and overturned Friday night. The driver was believed to be from Nevada, Ia.

Flames which sprang up from the truck spread over 15 acres of land and when rescuers reached the scene, they could not approach the truck. The bodies of the men were found two hours later.

The truck, loaded with frozen eggs, belonged to the Cooper-Jarrett Trucking company of Kansas City, Mo.

Officials of the trucking company at Omaha said Fred Lyman, about 26, of Nevada, Ia., was the driver of the truck. Lyman left Omaha October 22 with a load of frozen eggs for eastern markets.

Lillian Lyman of Des Moines, sister of Fred Lyman, told the United Press that she had been informed that her brother was killed in the accident. She said she was not informed as to the name of the assistant, who was also burned to death.
