THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, October 2, 2008.

Vera A. Jones, 96, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Grandview Care Center in Dayton. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Becker Funeral Home in Jewell. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established; gifts may be sent to Roberta Lee Phillips, 880 39th Ave., Goodview, MN, 55987.

Becker Funeral and Cremation Service of Jewell is in charge of arrangements.
