CHARLES ANDERSON, SLATER MAN, DIES
SLATER - Charles Anderson, 65, longtime resident of Slater, died at 10:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Mary Greeley hospital at Amss of pneumonia. Anderson was taken to the hospital early Tuesday morning.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bethlehem church. Burial will in the Slater cemetery beside his wife who died on Jan. 1, 1930. There were no children.
Mr. Anderson was a brick layer and contractor in Slater and the vicinity. Previous to his fatal illness he was employed at Huxley. Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden and came to the Slater community at the age of 17.
Two sisters, Mrs. Victor Lundquist of Marathon and Mrs. O. K. Lindbloom of Des Moines, survive.
