McFarlan, Former Gilbert Man, Dies

GILBERT - Word has been received by Gilbert friends of the death oŁ C. P. McFarlan, Lebanon, Ore., former resident of Gilbert. Mr.. McFarlan died March 13 at his home in Lebanon.
Mr. McFarlan was raised in the Gilbert community. While living here he was married to Miss Neva Dunn. For a time he managed the Gilbert elevator owned by his father and then moved to his father's farm northwest of Gilbert. About 25 years ago the family moved to Galesburg, Ill., and five years later to Oregon.
There were no children, but a boy, who is now married and lives in Oregon, was adopted. Besides his wife, one brother, Neal of Montana, and a sister, Mrs. Clark of Cedar Rapids, survive.
