Mrs. Elvira D. Allen Funeral Wednesday

ZEARING, Jan. 21 - Funeral services for Mrs. Eliva D. Allen, 73, who died early Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. E. A. Hein at Hubbard, will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Zearing Church of Christ. Mrs. Allen has been a resident of the Zearing community since 1882. The services will be conducted by the Rev. A. T. Trimble of Marion, a former pastor here. Burial will be in the Zearing cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was born in Wapello county in 1856 and moved to Zearing in 1882. Her husband died a number of years ago. She is survived by two daughters and two sons. They are: Mrs. Wilbur Alexander of Ames, L. C. Allen of Hampton, Will Allen of Marshalltown, and Mrs. Hein of Hubbard.
