Rites for Colo Man to Be Held Wednesday P. M.

COLO, Jan. 6, - Charles William Scott, 72, died Sunday of heart failure and anemia at his home here. He lived in Colo and the vicinity for the past 50 years.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Evangilical church at Colo. The Rev. Mr. Miller will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Colo cemetery.

Mr. Scott was born Nov. 28, 1857, in Illinois. In 1882 he married Miss Mary Kathryn Fosha, of Baxter.

His wife, three children and five brothers survive. The children are Mrs. Jesse Brouhard of Colo; Mrs. Lille Schuler and Ray L. Scott, both of Des Moines. The brothers are: Henry of Pueblo, Col.; John of Glendale, Cal.; George of Wichita, Kan.; Ed of Nenvel, Neb., and T. O. of Phoenix, Ariz. Five grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Scott retired two years ago. He was formerly a salesman for teh Minnesota Machinery company.
