Rita L. Thomas Gonser passed away after a short illness Monday, July 14, at her home in Sequim, Wash.

Rita was born Dec. 22, 1941, to Homer and Evelyn (Young) Thomas. She married John Gonser Nov. 24, 1961.

She is survived by her husband and daughters, Marsha Pipes, Lisa Thio, Kathryn Gonser, Hillary Gonser and Patricia Gonser Fujimoto. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond (Barbara) Thomas, of Nevada; one sister, Dixie (John) Grindem, of Mead, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by many who knew and loved her. Condolences may be sent to John Gonser and family, 150 Simpson Road, Sequim, WA, 98382.
