Services Held Nov. 27Services for Albert G. (Bert) Armstrong, 309 S 6th street, Marshalltown, who died Saturday, were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Avey funeral home, with the Rev. R. Park Anderson in charge.
Bearers were Bruce Hendrix, Wm. Noid, Stanley Clemens, Louie Giannetta, Ernest Hulsizer and Harry Jennings.
Fervent Lodge No. 513, A F and A M, of Collins was in charge of services at the grave in Riverside cemetery. Representatives attended from Marshall Implement Co. and Central Chapter No. 67, OES.
Mr Armstrong was born July 23, 1884, near Collins. the son of Albert and Elsie Kirkendall Armstrong. He attended school at Collins and was graduated from Leander Clark college at Toledo, after which he entered the implement businesss in Reinbeck.
From 1920 to 1912 he was employed as a bookkeeper at the Marshall Implement Co.
He was married Aug. 10, 1919, to Beulah Moser at Waverly and she survives with several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were four sisters and one brother. Mr Armstrong was a member of Fervent Lodge No. 513, AF and AM, at Collins.
