Mrs. Josephine Allen, age 76, passed away at her home in Collins Saturday night. She had been bedfast for some time. Mrs. Allen has been a resident of the community most of her life. Her husband Samual Allen died about 25 years ago and one son Walter passed away about a year ago. She is survived by John of Des Moines, Marshall of Grand Junction, Mrs. Jess Hainline of Polk City, Charley and Mrs. Ida Hubbard of Maxwell. Funeral services were held at the Elwell church Monday at 2:30 with burial in the Center Grove cemetery.
