Alice M. Roberts, 38, 1208 Orchard Drive, died October 28, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Services are Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from Bethesda Lutheran Church with the Revs. Carl F. Schattauerr and James Ehrlichman officiating. Burial is in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts was born September 17, 1937 in Story City. She was a graduate of Milford High School and Iowa State Teachers College. Mrs. Roberts taught in Story City and Ames Schools. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church and Alpha Xi Delta at Iowa State University. She and Dick Roberts were married May 18, 1957 in Roland. Mrs. Roberts moved to Ames in 1959.
Survivng are her husband; a daughter, Pam and a son Rick, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Jerene Hansen, Roland; two brothers, Rodney G. Hansen, Winthrop, Minnesota and Larry Hansen, Story City and a sister Mrs. Robert (Janet) Collins, Colo. She was preceded in death by her father, Ingvold, in 1972.
A memorial fund has been established. Gifts may be sent to the First National Bank.
The Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
