Betty Jean Lough, 87 of Nevada died on Tuesday
February 26, 2008 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Memorial services were held Wednesday, March 12 at Chet Ryan Mortuary & Cremation Services, 708 Fifth Sheet in Nevada with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial of the cremains will be hold at a later date in the Nevada
Municipal Cemetery.

Betty was born December 22, 1920 in Nevada to Samuel and Ella (Brooks) Lough. She was a 1939 graduate of Nevada High School. Betty was a deputy in the Story County Clerk of Court office. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nevada. Betty enjoyed collecting pin cushion dolls, antiques and portraits of ladies.
Betty is survived by her sister, Jane Lough of Nevada and numerous cousins and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.

A memorial fund has been established.
