After a year-long battle with lung cancer, Pauline Robertson fell asleep in death on March 29, 2008, at age 74, with family by her side.

A longtime resident of Nevada, Mrs. Robertson was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 23, 1933. A homemaker until her children were grown, Pauline later enjoyed working first at Northcrest Community and then Green Hills Retirement Community in their dietary departments. Following her retirement, Mrs. Robertson enjoyed traveling and spending time with the family. A fun-loving person and avid reader, Pauline also found much delight in flower gardening and bird watching.

Pauline will be dearly missed and is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dean Robertson, and her
children, Laurel Speas (husband, Mike) of Port Washington, Wisconsin, Tim Robertson (wife, Sheri) of Acworth, Georgia, Jeff Robertson of West Bend, Wisconsin, Betsy Cosgrave of Evergreen, Colorado, Lynn Robertson of Winston, Georgia, and Lisa Robertson (husband, Jimmy Williams) of Trotwood, Ohio. Martha Diane Robertson was born to Pauline prematurely and did not survive. Pauline has two brothers as well, Gordon Wadsworth (wife, Jan) of Woodstock, Georgia, and James Wadsworth (wife, Kay) of Pacific Palisades, California.

Pauline's greatest joy in life was spending more time with her 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. They are Matt and Kirsten Speas; Amanda and Emily Robertson; Lily Cosgrave; Riley, Ryan, and Jeremy Robertson; Kinsey Robertson; and, Ashlynn Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Israel Family Hospice House, Ames. A private memorial service is being planned.
