Margaret Leberecht Greer, 88, of Jensen Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, April 22, at Story County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit in Nevada. A memorial celebration will be held in Florida.

Margaret Greer was born in Clifton, N.J., to Otto and Marie Kruger Leberecht. She married Franklin Greer in Newark, N.J., in 1939.

She completed an R.N. degree and worked as a nurse in private practice for Dr. Franklin Wilbur in Asbury Park, N.J., and for the Arthur Brisbane Child Treatment Center in Allaire, N.J. Later, she was a supervising nurse for the Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, Fla.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond (Mary Helen) Greer, of Ames, and Gregory (Linda) Greer, of Clarksburg, N.J.; one grandson, Frank (Julia) Greer, of Pasadena, Calif.; and one great-granddaughter, Ayla Greer of Pasadena, Calif. She is also survived by two nephews David (Karen) Van Hine, of Frankenmuth, Mich., and Richard Van Hine, of Narragansett, R.I.; and one niece, Pamela (Brian MacPherson) Van Hine, of Alexandria, Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Otto; and one sister, Eva.
