Richard "Dick" Alan Clark
Richard "Dick" Alan Clark, 62, of Ames, died peacefully Friday, March 28, at Green Hills Care Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, and funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, both at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames.

Dick was born and raised in Kewanee, Ill. He moved to Des Moines where he attended college at Drake University. After college, He moved to Ames where he worked as a pharmacist and part owner of the Clinic Pharmacy. He had been a resident of Ames for the past 38 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Marsha Lester Clark. He is also survived by his sister, Rita (Bob) Potter, of Bellingham, Wash.; his daughter, Amy (Matt) Oakley, of Ankeny; his two sons, Matthew Clark, of San Diego, Calif., and Gil (Kelley) Clark, of Chicago, Ill.; and his four grandchildren, Jackson, Olivia and Elizabeth Oakley, and Hank Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bessie Clark, of Kewanee, Ill.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Green Hills Memorial Fund or the National Parkinson Foundation.
