THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, March 14, 2008.

George T. Hilts Jr., 82, of Moingona, died Wednesday, March 12, at Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone. He had been a resident at the home since early February. The body has been cremated. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone. Burial, with full military honors and presentation of the flag conducted by the Veterans Council of Boone, will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Moingona.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, March 15, at Stark-Welin Chapel. The family will be present to greet friends from 6 until 7:30 tonight at the chapel.

Masonic services, conducted by Mirza Lodge 609 of Pilot Mound, will be at 7:30 tonight at Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the family to establish a memorial in George's name.
