THE ROLAND RECORD, Roland, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, February 28, 1895.

Died - at her home 6 miles north of Roland, on Wednesday, Feb.27, Mrs. Cristie Floxta, aged about 60 years. A number of surviving children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. Mrs. Floxta was held in high esteem by her friends in this vicinity. The funeral services will be held Saturday at one o'clock in the west church, by Rev. Smedal, from which the remains will be taken to the Roland cemetery for interment. The Record extends sympathy to the deceased relatives and friends.
