Mark Allan Moore, 42, of Story City, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at Campus Baptist Church in Ames. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery in rural Story City. Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Campus Baptist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 26.

Mark Moore was born Sept. 4, 1964 to Ivan and Donna (Nearmyer) Moore at Newton, Iowa. He graduated from Roland-Story High School in 1983 and worked as a machinist. Mark was a member of Campus Baptist Church where he enjoyed being a game leader for AWANA. He also enjoyed photography, camping, and canoeing.

Mark is survived by his parents Ivan and Donna Moore of Story City; two brothers, Tim (Beccy) Moore of Roland and Martin (Margaret) Moore of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; one sister LaDonna (Jason) Poock of Nevada, Iowa; and six nieces and nephews.
