A Memorial Service will be held for Hazel Marie Thorson on Saturday, April 28, at 10:00 am. at the United Methodist Church in Williams, Iowa. Mrs. Thorson, 91, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Nov. 17, 2006, at Parkside Meadows Retirement Center in St. Charles after being hospitalized for four weeks. Mrs. Thorson was a homemaker and lived in the Williams community for 45 years before moving to St. Charles in 2001.

Mrs. Thorson was preceded in death by her husband Melburne "Mel" Peter Thorson, her parents, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by one daughter, one son, three granddaughters, two grandsons, four great-granddaughters, two great-grandsons and one sister.
