Terry L. Huth, 61, of Huxley, died Sunday, Dec. 23, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley, where he was a member. Cremation will follow the service with interment of the cremains at a later date in Fjeldberg Church Cemetery.

Terry L. Huth was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Chicago, to Herbert W. and Isla (Brenner) Huth. He married Sharon Steensland Aug. 26, 1967, in Roland. He was a Vietnam veteran. He had lived in Huxley since 1983 and was a member of Ballard Golf and Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of Huxley; two daughters, Tonya (Richard) Atkinson, of Ankeny, and Janice (Matthew) Carpenter, of Des Moines; five grandsons; one brother, Barry Huth, of Arizona; and one sister, Sharon Rattray, of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry; and an infant grandson, John.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to SIDS of Iowa.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater.
