THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, October 19, 2007.

Onno Guy, 86, of Grinnell and formerly of Ames, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Grinnell Christian Church, with burial in Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.

Friends may call beginning at 4 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

He worked as a meat cutter for Super Value and Hy-Vee in Ames until moving to Grinnell in 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Marcille Guy, of Grinnell; two sons, Terry Guy, of Colo, and Jeff Guy, of Monticello; one daughter, Jennifer Gilbreaith, of Grinnell; and six grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Grinnell Christian Church or to Grinnell Regional Hospice.
