Robert Allan Johnson, 59 of Colo died on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. The family received friends on Tuesday, November 6 at Chet Ryan Mortuary and Cremation Services, 708 Fifth Street in Nevada.

Bob was born on April 19, 1948 in Fremont, Nebraska to Warren and Dorothy (Benjamin) Johnson. He served in the U.S. Army. On June 7, 1971, Bob married Becky Stoeffler in Fremont, NE. He had been employed as a welder for Todd and Sargent in Ames and Ditch witch. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Bob is survived by his wife Becky of Colo; 3 sons, Dennis Stoeffler of Walnut, Randy Stoeffler of Colo, and Robert E. Johnson of Anita; a sister Carol Kelsey of Des Moines; and 6 grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Judy Nelson.

A memorial fund has been established.
Chet Ryan Mortuary has been entrusted with Bob and his family.
