Carol I. Pritchard, 76, of Maxwell, died Sunday, Oct. 21, at Story County Medical Center in Nevada. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell.

Carol Pritchard was born Oct. 14, 1931, in Maxwell, the daughter of Glen and Ethel (Cleverley) Robertson. She married William Flavius Pritchard Aug. 7, 1951, in Maxwell. He preceded her in death June 8, 1991. She worked as a secretary for the Juvenile Probation Office in Ames and retired in 2006. She was a member of Maxwell Christian Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy C. Golly, of Maxwell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Julie Pritchard, and Bob and Chris Pritchard, all of Maxwell; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, her twin, Coral Myers, of Maxwell, and Donna Anderson, of Phoenix.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Lowell Robertson; and one sister, Lois Pyle.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery at Iowa Center.
