Adeline Gladys Cook, 93, of Story City, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Zearing.

Adeline Gladys Cook was born April 19, 1914, in Radcliffe, to Iver and Alice (Heng) Hodnefield. She was a nurse at Story City Hospital for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Cook, of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Jim (Jan) Cook, of Zearing; one daughter, Mary (Dan) Predovich, of Sedalia, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Esther Larson, of Radcliffe, and Ardice Cammack, of Hubbard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Cook; one son, Harlan; one grandson, Dane; two brothers, Irving and Maynard Hodnefield and a sister, Helena Ullestad.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.

Memorials may be made to Hubbard Care Center or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
